Carl Joy is owner operator of Bert's Driving School with its business office located in Knox, Maine. Carl is a 14-year veteran Law Enforcement officer, with both a military and civilian background.
Carl started Bert's Driving School 15 years ago with a founding principle of providing the best drivers education possible for young men and women seeking to obtain a State of Maine drivers license.
With this guiding principle, Carl has endeavored to ensure that, each and every time he issues a Maine State learners permit, he is confident that he has provided the student and their family with the very best.
Carl seeks to continually improve his knowledge and training to ensure that he delivers the best training possible. Carl is EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course) certified through the Maine Criminal Justice Academy, and has many years experience driving both professionally and privately.
